    Last updated: March 2026

    1. Services

South West Alloys provides alloy wheel repair, refurbishment, and finishing services from our workshop at Unit 3, Grace Road West, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8PU. All services are subject to these terms.

    2. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing may vary if additional damage is discovered during the repair process. We will always seek your approval before proceeding with any work that exceeds the original estimate.

    3. Acceptance of Work

By leaving your wheels or vehicle with us, you confirm that you are the owner or authorised representative and that you consent to the quoted work being carried out.

    4. Payment

Payment is due upon collection of completed work unless a trade account has been agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. Trade accounts are invoiced monthly with payment due within 30 days.

    5. Guarantee

All workmanship is guaranteed against defects including peeling, flaking, and adhesion failure under normal use. This guarantee does not cover:

    • Damage from subsequent impacts, kerb strikes, or accidents
    • Use of acidic or abrasive wheel cleaning products
    • Automatic car washes with abrasive brushes
    • Normal wear and tear from extended use

    6. Liability

We take every care with your wheels and vehicle. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects in the wheel structure not visible during initial assessment, or consequential losses.

    7. Collection

Completed work should be collected within 7 days of notification. Wheels or vehicles not collected within 30 days may be subject to a storage charge. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before applying any charges.

    8. Wheel Assessment

We reserve the right to refuse repair on any wheel we deem structurally unsafe. In such cases, we will advise you on alternative options including replacement. No charge is made for assessments that result in a repair being declined on safety grounds.

    9. Diamond Cut Limitations

Diamond cut wheels have a limited number of re-machining cycles before the material becomes too thin for safe use. We measure wall thickness before machining and reserve the right to decline re-cutting if the wheel has reached its safe limit.

    10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
